Mental health app for The University of Reading
FIZIX were commissioned to design and develop a mental health research app for the University of Reading - school of psychology and clinical language sciences.
The app is designed for practitioners and their clients - specifically those who suffer from anxiety, a tendency to catastrophise destructively, or triggered mental wellness episodes. Patients report their daily mood at set intervals throughout the day and their daily activities; alongside their mood during those activities. Patients also answer daily control questions and can submit trigger reports if they experienced situations that triggered stress responses.
Practitioners are then able to view the reported data from the patient in a variety of report forms that allow for a greater understanding of the patients routine, how their mood fluctuates throughout the day or during certain activities, find patterns in schedule or activity, and identify what might trigger negative episodes in the patient. This information can then be used to gain a greater understanding of the patients condition and feed into their treatment plans.
