Campaign for the Trailermen
Back when Flash was cool, it's time for a throwback and one of our earliest clients.
Trailermen is the production company of Jules Bromley, whose credits included working on soundtracks for major film and TV shows and extensive work with recording artists at major labels. We were tasked with updating the Trailermen showreel, taking the music studio in a bold new direction.
FIZIX were tasked to create a high octane animated showreel website in Adobe Flash (it was all the rage back then), that was heavy on 3D CG animation, special effects, and hit with a BOOM!
The creative brief was to create something that carried a futuristic vibe, but kind of beaten and gritty - perhaps post apocalyptic. So, we decided on battered up mobile device, probably from the distant past, that had been kept alive with random scattered parts.
When the device is started up, it transforms into a battered, grungy, multimedia entertainment centre where users can listen to, or watch videos from, Trailermens eclectic back catalogue of work - which spanned from Texas to Pantera, to movie soundtracks and music videos.
